Finance Intern at Tusen Consulting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analysing financial statements, reports, and projections.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide insights on variances.
• Help in updating and maintaining financial models.
• Assist in processing invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Support the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in maintaining and updating financial databases and spreadsheets.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Support the implementation of financial software and tools.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Participate in special projects and assignments as needed and provide analytical support to various departments within the company that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a finance-related role (internships included).
• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with financial software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
