Finance Executive at Konga Online Shopping Limited

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Executive to oversee and support the financial operations of Kxpress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Financial Executive will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, driving cost efficiency, and providing insights that support informed business decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
• Prepare quarterly and annual statements by assembling data.
• Complies with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.
• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Managing and keeping of all financial records and receipts
• Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
• Preparing balance sheets
• Processing invoices
• Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• A good first degree in Accounts, Finance or related discipline

Professional Qualification

• Membership of relevant accounting bodies and attendant qualifications e.g. ICAN, ACCA, etc. will be an added advantage.

Years of Experience

• A minimum of 4 years post NYSC experience in a similar role

Age Requirement

• 25 – 50 years

Functional / Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Accounting principles
• Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Packages
