JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure accuracy of all data required for processing financial transactions to assigned accounts into the financial accounting package(Peachtree) .
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Support the preparation of invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts
• Assist with data entry into accounting and financial systems
• Help reconcile bank statements and petty cash
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Assist with filing, tracking, and organizing financial documents
• Support budget tracking and expense monitoring
• Assist during audits and financial reviews
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the finance Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1–2 years relevant work experience 
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision
