Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive Finance Assistant/ Intern to join our finance team.
• This role supports day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and reporting in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on learning opportunities for recent graduates pursuing a career in Finance and Accounting.

Core Function

• Provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to the finance team, ensuring efficient record-keeping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized digital and physical files for all finance documents.
• Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and petty cash management.
• Handle correspondence between the finance team, staff, and vendors.
• Maintaining and updating the pending payment schedule.
• Ensure all supporting documents for payments and receipts are properly filed and retrievable.
• Carry out clerical tasks required in the finance department and any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or related field.
• Candidate must hold a 2:1 degree or higher
• 1+ years of post-NYSC experience in finance or accounting.
