Finance and Account Intern at Hoop Telecoms

Job Summary

• Are you a detail-oriented and ambitious individual looking to build a career in finance and accounting? 
• We are seeking graduate Finance and Account Interns that are currently doing their NYSC to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and account duties. 
• This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real business environment and learn directly from experienced finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable / receivable
• Support monthly reconciliation of bank statements and ledger entries
• Help with the preparation of financial reports and budgeting activities
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records and financial documents
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team
• Participate in audits and compliance reviews when required
• Learn and apply financial principles and accounting practices on the job.

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
