    Finance & Accounts Manager

    Role Summary

    • The Finance & Accounts Manager will serve as the financial backbone of LYNN Wholefoods, providing real-time financial visibility, decision-grade reporting, and disciplined financial operations across all outlets, central production, and expansion initiatives.
    • This role is designedfor a high-growth, multi-location food & wellness company and sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy.
    • This is not a passive bookkeeping role. It is an execution-facing, insight-driven position that enables leadership to make fast, confident, and profitable decisions daily.

    Reporting Line:

    • Reports directly to: Founder/CEO
    • Works in close collaboration with: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
    • Functional collaboration with: External Accountants, Tax Consultants, Auditors

    Core Responsibilities
    Financial Operations & Bookkeeping (Daily / Weekly):

    • Maintain accurate, real-time bookkeeping across all LYNN Wholefoods outlets and central production.
    • Ensure daily reconciliation of sales, cash, POS reports, and bank statements.
    • Track payables, receivables, vendor payments, and operating expenses.
    • Maintain clean general ledger and chart of accounts suitable for scale and audit-readiness.

    Management Reporting & P&L Ownership:

    • Prepare monthly management P&L statements by:
      • Outlet
      • Brand line (LYNN Wholefoods, LYNN Everyday, etc.)
      • Central production vs outlet operations
    • Track gross margins by product category (juices, food, yoghurt, add-ons).
    • Deliver clear commentary on variances, risks, and opportunities.

    Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

    • Produce weekly cash flow forecasts and liquidity snapshots.
    • Monitor burn rate and ensure sufficient runway for expansion plans.
    • Optimize inventory spend, supplier terms, and payment cycles.
    • Flag cash pressure risks early with actionable recommendations.

    Pricing, Costing & Unit Economics:

    • Develop and maintain cost models for all SKUs.
    • Support pricing decisions for LYNN Everyday vs LYNN Wholefoods.
    • Build outlet-level unit economics and break-even analysis.
    • Support franchise pricing and royalty modelling.

    Expansion & Strategic Finance Support:

    • Financial modelling for new outlets, containers, and partnerships.
    • Support COO with budget tracking for expansion projects.
    • Build investment-ready financial models and forecasts.
    • Support due diligence for partnerships, franchising, and capital raising.

    Compliance & External Liaison:

    • Coordinate with external accountants on statutory filings and tax compliance.
    • Prepare financials for audits and regulatory submissions.
    • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and approval processes.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) – completed or in progress preferred.
    • 5–8 years experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in:
      • QSR, FMCG, retail, hospitality, or multi-location businesses.
    • Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
    • Experience working with POS systems and inventory data.

    • Commercial mindset (understands business, not just numbers).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High attention to detail with speed and accuracy.
    • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance leaders.
    • Integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
