Finance/Account Officer at IGIT Shipping and Logistics Company

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Head of Finance and Account in managing the balance sheet, profit/loss account, etc of the company.
• Regularly updating client financial records
• Process payment transactions
• Post and update all receivables and payables.
• Cash management and disbursement
• Regular filing and remittance of taxes (VAT, PAYE, etc) returns with the appropriate authorities
• Support in the management of the company's financial accounting, and reporting systems
• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounts department
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Assist with account reconciliations
• Strict compliance with accounting policies and regulations
• Undertake any other related functions as advised.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 - 5 years of industry experience.
• Advance MS Excel skills
• Familiarity with finance and account operations and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
