Field Service Engineer (Mechatronics) - (M/F/D) at KHS Machines Nigeria Ltd

Your tasks

• Installation of machinery and plant components according to plans and engineering drawings
• Mechanic & Electronic commissioning of machinery within the beverage and packaging industry
• Provide constant customer support in all service areas
• Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement
• Ability to understanding problems or customer’s problems and developing solutions that satisfy them
• Carry out maintenance jobs independently
• Creation of a professional, well explained, and detailed service report after every job
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments within KHS
• Inventorying and recommend spare parts to customers

Your Profile

• BSc in mechatronics engineering or similar.
• A completed apprenticeship or additional courses would be advantageous.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a team or alone in a multicultural environment
• Advance electrical skills, Siemens S7/Step7, TIA Portal, Simotion / Sinamics, WinCC, B&R HMI/Zenon (Iconix), Siemens and PILZ Safety Applications
• Advance mechanical skills, qualification as mechanic
• A minimum of 5 years in the industry of beverage & packaging
• Knowledge of process engineering
• Experienced enough to install and commissioning machines
• Excellent spoken and written English (French or German skills would be an advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Willingness to travel most of his time
