Fiber Team Lead at Vesselnet Integrated Services Limited

Responsibilities

• Mobilize team to resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems and ensure that they are always online
• Lead team to examine and replace faulty and old fiber optic cables according to MTTR and SLAs 
• Prepare, organize and implement scheduled patrol and maintenance routines to prevent damages and vandalization  
• Ensure adheres to sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections to make sure that faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance
• Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements
• Formulate and maintain system records for purchases, replacement and other work tools such as splicing machine and camera
• Attend to all escalations according to MTTR
• Prepare weekly and monthly report for the Project Manager

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• At least 2 years experience as a similar role in the telecommunications industry
• Reside at around Benin/Ore or be willing to relocate to the region
• Ability to use MS Office package
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Willing to resume immediately
