We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations.
The Workshop Manager will be responsible for coordinating all activities within the workshop, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing a team in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
Supervise workshop staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Ensure that all work carried out in the workshop is completed to a high standard and meets quality control standards.
Develop and implement procedures to optimize workshop efficiency and productivity.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock of necessary materials and equipment.
Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all workshop activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety standards.
Liaise with other departments to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare reports on workshop performance, including productivity metrics, quality control data, and budgetary information.
