Female Chartered Accountant at Xpedient Expatriate Services

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Female Chartered Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of a high-end luxury lounge and club located in Abuja.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for all financial management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll, and compliance.
• This role requires a professional with strong ethics, the ability to work independently, and a deep understanding of the unique financial dynamics of the hospitality and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle daily accounting operations including receivables, payables, and cash management.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee payroll, tax remittances, and statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, etc.).
• Monitor and control expenses to improve profitability.
• Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to reduce financial risk.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax authorities.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Supervise accounting assistants or clerical staff if applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, club/lounges, or fast-paced service environments.
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA required).
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, hospitality accounting, and financial regulations.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage financial tasks around busy lounge/club operations.
