• We’re looking for a results-driven Feed Mill Officer to oversee daily feed production, maintain top-quality standards, and keep operations running smoothly. You’ll manage raw materials, ensure equipment efficiency, and produce high-quality feed that supports our thriving livestock production.

What You’ll Do
Feed Production & Processing:

• Supervise the mixing, grinding, and pelleting of feed ingredients to produce high-quality livestock feed.
• Operate feed processing equipment efficiently to meet set production targets.
• Adjust feed formulations in line with nutritionist recommendations and company standards.
• Monitor the production cycle to reduce waste and optimize output.

Quality Control & Assurance:

• Ensure all feed products meet nutritional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control checks and corrective measures.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in feed composition promptly.

Raw Material & Inventory Management

• Manage the procurement, storage, and usage of key ingredients such as maize, soybean meal, and additives.
• Track stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of materials.
• Implement proper storage and handling practices to prevent contamination and spoilage.
• Keep detailed records of inventory, raw material usage, and production output.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance:

• Oversee routine maintenance and cleaning of feed mill machinery.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate major faults to the maintenance team.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the feed mill facility.
• Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of feed formulation, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Open to both male and female candidates.
