    Fashion Operations Manager

    Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

    Our client, a fast-growing, fashion brand is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Operations Manager for their fashion brand. S/he will be responsible for leading, directing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the company. S/he will also be expected to provide an oversight of sales, employees, stock, facility, and monitor processes related to customer experience, recruitment, compliance, order fulfillment, compensation & benefits, staff training, and development, all within stipulated standard procedures.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage supply chain and other resources to help minimize costs of production.
    • Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the production team’s capabilities
    • Set goals and objectives and establish procedures and policies for various departments in the organization, based on overall company strategy and monitor progress
    • Study business forecasts, sales reports and financial statements prepared by the Finance Officer and propose ways to maximize results.
    • Manage the production team and ensure all deadlines are met.

    Human Resources

    • Determine business needs, hire employees, oversee assignment of employees and planning staff development
    • Prepare staff salary schedule
    • Monitor employees’ Key Performance Indicators, conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback on performance as required.
    • Identify training needs and suggest relevant training to upskill employees.
    • Organize and maintain a filing system (online & offline) for important and confidential company documents and ensure documents are easily accessible.
    • Help promote a positive company culture where the work can get done and morale is high
    • Facilitate efficient communication between employees and departments.
    • Resolve minor disputes or disagreements
    • Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the production team’s capabilities
    • Perform other tasks as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree / HND in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline
    • 3-5 years’ experience in an operations position or a related field
    • Experience in a luxury fashion production environment is a plus
    • Experience in management and leadership is an added advantage
    • High level of professionalism
    • Ability to lead teams and projects from concept to completion
    • Leading and supervising skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong adherence to principles and values
    • Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
    • Must be able to prepare management reports and correspondence
    • Organizational and coordination skills
    • Result-oriented team player with exceptional motivation and interpersonal skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    •  High proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Being an excellent team player is essential
    • Must be proactive with good initiative, and time management skills
    • Impeccable attention to detail
    • Ability to work without supervision
