Farm Supervisor at Westingate Group

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Farm Manager
• Oversee day-to-day farm operations, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
• Supervise farm workers and provide guidance on tasks and procedures.
• Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures as needed.
• Maintain farm equipment and ensure proper functionality through regular maintenance and repairs.
• Implement and adhere to safety protocols and regulations on the farm.
• Collect and analyze data to improve farming practices and maximize yields.
• Collaborate with farm management to develop and implement strategies for improved efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of agricultural practices, equipment, and technologies.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize farm performance.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
