Factory Workers (Food Processing & Packaging) at Wangarau Foods

Location: Lagos Mainland

Wangaraufoods is a fast-growing Nigerian food processing and export company producing African food items, firewood-roasted products, proudly Nigerian snacks and grocery staples for local and international markets.

We are recruiting disciplined and hardworking Factory Workers to support our food processing and packaging operations.

Job Summary

You will work across the sorting room, firewood house, cold room, packaging room, store and finished goods room, supporting the preparation, processing and packaging of food products under strict hygiene and quality standards.

The Sorting Room runs a two-shift system to ensure continuous raw-material preparation. Other production units operate on regular daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting and manually cleaning raw food items (no washing)
• Removing stones, dirt and spoiled items
• Processing and firewood-roasting food products
• Handling cold-room items safely
• Weighing, sealing and labeling packaged goods
• Moving items between production rooms
• Cleaning work areas, tools and equipment
• Following food safety, hygiene and quality rules
• Working under factory supervisors

Working Hours

• General production units: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Sorting Room shifts:
  • Day: 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Night: 6:00pm – 6:00am
• (With handover at 6pm)

Applicants must be willing to work assigned shifts if placed in the Sorting Room.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to work long hours
• Disciplined, punctual and able to follow instructions
• Willing to work in a food factory environment
• Comfortable with manual cleaning, firewood roasting, drying and packaging
• Lives around Lagos Mainland (Yaba, Mushin, Oshodi, Surulere, Apapa, Ikorodu Road axis or nearby) We are open to relocation.
• No formal education required.
• Factory or food handling experience is an advantage.
