The Facility Manager will oversee the facility's operational functionality every day. This role includes managing staff andthird parties and ensuring client satisfaction with all services/goods rendered.
Job Responsibilities
The manager will ensure all resourcesare usedto maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
Promptly manage waste disposal.
Coordinate repairs and renovations with internal staff and external contractors.
Manage budgets for maintenance and repairs.
Oversee and optimize facility power consumption and compliance with regulatory bodies.
Allocate and optimize office space to meet the needs of staff and departments.
Manage furniture and equipment inventory.
Plan and oversee allocation and renovations.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and contractors.
Negotiate, manage and supervise service contracts for cleaning, security, maintenance and other facilities-related services.
Develop and manage budgets for facilities operations.
Track and maintain building records, including permits, warranties, and maintenance logs.
Coordinate with other departments (Medical, Operations,HR) on facilities-related projects.
Manage insurance coverage for vehicles including regular maintenance, permits renewal.
Communicate effectively with staff and management on facilities issues.
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, budget expenditures, and space utilization.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
Strong understanding of building maintenance systems (electrical, plumbing).
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must be able to drive and be comfortable with animals.
