Facility Operator at Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Plc

This job role is to operate and identify the maintenance needs of the company’s equipment for optimal use to keep it in good condition.

Job Requirements

1. At least 2 years of working experience as a Facility Operator.
2. OND or NABTEB in building services-related disciplines.
3. A certification in Health, Safety, and Environment would be an advantage.

Technical competencies

1. Basic knowledge of standard space management and utilization practices
2. Previous experience in maintaining facilities/office services Function
3. Good technical knowledge of building services – electrical works, refrigerators and air conditioners, water systems, etc.

Job Responsibility

1. Operate the company generators and Elevators.
2. Maintain a proper inventory of equipment and other necessary items required to perform duties assigned.
3. Perform minor maintenance work on the facilities, such as electrical and mechanical systems.
4. Accepting and signing designated documents, such as job completion certificates.
5. Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
6.  Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by HFM.
