    Facility Officer II

    Role overview:

    • The Facility Officer is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of company facilities at the Head Office, coordination of facility operations across six (6) state branches, and oversight of the Managing Director’s residence. The role ensures that all offices, control rooms, and operational facilities are safe, functional, cost-efficient, and compliant with health, safety, and company standards.

    Role description

    • Manage daily facility operations at the Head Office and coordinate facility-related activities across six (6) state branches and the MD’s residence.
    • Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance for electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning units, generators, fittings, and general building infrastructure.

    • Proactively identify facility risks, faults, and improvement needs and escalate appropriately
    • Liaise with facility-related vendors, contractors, and service providers
    • Monitor utilities usage including power supply, water, diesel, and generator consumption across locations.
    • Prepare and submit periodic facility status reports, maintenance updates, and incident reports to management.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in facility management, administrative support, or a related role.
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to facility issues.
    • Experience supporting multiple locations or branch operations
    • Technical knowledge of building systems, utilities, and general maintenance.
    • Vendor and service provider management capability.
    • Cost awareness with reporting and record-keeping skills.
