Job Overview:

A fast growing Real Estate company is looking to hire a Senior Accountant:

Responsibilities

• Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including relevant key performance indicators, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee and ensure compliance and timely remittances of taxes and pensions.
• Manage expense journal, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain and manage records, ensuring detailed documentation and compliance to maturity date.
• Ensure financial accuracy of bank reconciliation.
• Efficient management of float to optimize financial resources.
• Implement project costing and management.
• Handle interaction with internal & external clients
• Develop and oversee the budgeting process.
• Compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Discharging any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3- 4 years proven experience as an Accountant or related roles within the real estate industry. ICAN certification is an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to details
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Remuneration: #350,000 (Gross) Other benefits: HMO, Paid Annual Leave.
