Job Summary

• This is a full-time position within the Sustainability and Climate Change Unit to support the execution of sustainability and climate change projects.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our clients in addressing their sustainability and climate challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainability principles, climate science, and relevant industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Research and Analysis

• Conduct research and analysis on sustainability and climate-related topics, including climate risk assessments, GHG emissions inventories, and market trends.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in sustainability and climate change policy, regulations, and best practices.
• Analyse date and prepare reports on sustainability performance and progress towards goals

Project Support:

• Support the development and implementation of sustainability projects e.g sustainability strategies, including net-zero transition plans, climate adaptation strategies, and sustainability reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports for clients.
• Conduct data analysis and develop data visualizations to communicate complex sustainability information effectively.
• Support client engagement activities, including workshops, presentations, and stakeholder interviews.
• Contribute to the development of innovative sustainability solutions for clients across various sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration) preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, environmental management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, climate science, and relevant industry best practices (e.g., GHG Protocol, GRI Standards, TCFD).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with sustainability reporting standards e.g., GRI, SASB, IFRS sustainability disclosure standards.
