    Executive Assistant

    Job Description

    • Our client, an agricultural production and export company committed to delivering high-quality products to global markets currently has an opening for an Executive Assistant in Abuja.
    • An ideal candidate for this role should be well-organized, and possess great planning and time management skills.
    • Ultimately, he/she will contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalized and timely support to the CEO.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners
    • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
    • Manage CEO’s calendars and set up meetings
    • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
    • Take minutes during meetings
    • Organize and maintain the office filing system
    • Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages
    • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
    • Helping prepare for meetings
    • Greeting visitors and deciding if they should be able to meet with executives
    • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
    • Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed
    • Experience as a virtual assistant
    • Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence
    • Provide general administrative support

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting top-level executives.
    • First degree or its equivalent in a technical field (B.SC. degree in an agricultural field is a plus)
    • Experience in the agricultural industry is an added advantage.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities. 
    • Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and other relevant software.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • High level of professionalism and adaptability.
