    Exchange Centre Supervisor

    OVERVIEW: 

    Supervise daily operations, including receiving, sorting, scanning, and loading packages, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. This role requires strong leadership skills to provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment.

    • Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
    • Monitor and coordinate daily activities, such as receiving, Sorting Scanning, and loading packages/shipment
    • Oversee inventory control, including tracking, reporting, and minimizing discrepancies.
    • Resolve issues related to orders, inventory, equipment, and personnel, finding solutions that minimize delays and costs.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, laws, and company policies.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Liaise with other units, such as transportation, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
    • Implement processes to maximize productivity and quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
    • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed in the warehouse/location.

    KNOWLEDGE (include technical knowledge):

    • Ability to work with limited supervision
    • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Familiarity with cash management systems and financial regulations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and integrity in financial transactions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Essential

    • A Bachelor’s degree or HND
    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
