The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of event spaces, meetings, conferences, and social functions. This role focuses on building client relationships, managing event bookings, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities for events, conferences, weddings, and corporate meetings
Manage incoming inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
Conduct site inspections and present hotel facilities to potential clients
Develop customized event proposals and negotiate contracts
Collaborate with internal teams (banquet, catering, operations) to ensure successful event execution
Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, event management, or hospitality industry
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
