ERP Systems Specialist at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• To manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s ERP systems, including Sage Software and other platforms, ensuring they support business operations and decision-making effectively.
• The ERP Systems Specialist will play a key role in ERP implementation, data management, process improvement, IT support and end-user support.

Responsibilities
ERP Activities:

• Implement and maintain Sage ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, Sage X3) and other ERP platforms as required.
• Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems with third-party applications and organizational processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ERP system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Regularly update and customize ERP solutions to align with business needs and industry standards.
• Provide first-level support for ERP-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving user challenges.
• Train employees on ERP functionalities and new features to enhance proficiency.
• Maintain the integrity and security of ERP data while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Create and manage customized reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
• Lead ERP implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Document processes and best practices for ERP utilization and updates.
• Work closely with department heads to analyze business requirements and provide tailored ERP solutions.
• Stay updated on new ERP technologies and recommend system improvements.

IT Support:

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot company laptops and servers.
• Manage email creation and user access, including troubleshooting email-related issues.
• Purchase and set up IT equipment, including laptops and peripherals.
• Provide IT support for minor hardware and software issues.
• Monitor server performance and handle basic server-related troubleshooting.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in ERP system management, with a strong focus on Sage Software.
• Familiarity with other ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience with MS SQL, databases, and API integrations.
• Proven track record in ERP implementations and customizations.
• Proficiency in IT hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Project management qualification will be an added advantage.
