Position Summary

The Equity Market Analyst  is responsible for tracking and analyzing stock markets, corporate earnings, and equity trends. This role is essential for delivering accurate and timely equity market insights and reports to our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Equity Analysis: Monitor stock markets, corporate earnings, and equity trends to identify investment opportunities.
• Company Reports: Analyze and report on company performances, including quarterly earnings and corporate announcements.
• Market Movements: Provide analysis on stock market fluctuations and economic events affecting equities.
• Event Participation: Attend AGMs, investor relations calls, and other relevant financial events to gather firsthand information and insights.
• Content Creation: Write high-quality news and research articles that articulate complex financial data and market trends in an accessible manner for its’ audience.
• Media Appearances: Represent Company in media, offering expert analysis on equity markets.
• Media Appearances: Represent Company in TV appearances or other media engagements to provide analysis and insights into financial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

Work Experience

• Proven experience of at least 4 years in financial analysis, market research, or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Experience in journalism or financial reporting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into accessible and engaging news and research articles.
• Previous experience in public speaking or media appearances is advantageous.
