Our client who is an Engineering, Procurement and Renewable Energy Services based in Nigeria is looking to hire a Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Business Development Manager in Lagos.

OUTLINE OF JOB

Responsible for selling & specifying client's complete product portfolio and services to Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) customers and their customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and target new business opportunities to ensure expansion to new OEM & EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) customers and sustain growth within existing customer base.
• Seek customers in company target markets through research and direct contact with potential customers.
• Generate project/business opportunities and RFP's through customer contact to meet company's business plans and growth strategies
• Drive the sales process from inquiry/RFP coordination through "Closing the Deal"
• Lead the development and preparation of RFP's, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations
• Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our client's standards and correct in content and format
• Solicit customer feedback through the project proposal and execution phases
• Maintain customer/potential customer contact lists
• Collaborate with company management to prepare and implement the company's Marketing and Business Development
• Plan and strategy for meeting business goals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. A     Master's degree is a plus. 
• Proven work experience (5-7 years) in similar role especially within the Electrical EPC sector.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the Engineering, Procurement and construction industry
• Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word & Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and document and circulate relevant information
• Strong negotiation experience with ability to handle complex contracts 
• Strong Analytical & problem-solving Skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good Communication skills (written & oral)
• Ability to be decisive and make timely decisions.
