    English Language Editor

    Job Description:

    • Carryout editorial work on manuscripts, including copy editing and proofreading
    • Draw up illustration briefs of book format for graphic artist and book designers.
    • Devise editorial strategies for specific subjects
    • Work with production on the manuscript
    • Brief sales representatives on new titles
    • Monitor and review market performance of titles
    • Advise management on identified gaps and the market needs in respective subject areas
    • Source for and invite authors to bring up manuscripts for publication
