    Engineering Manager (Technical Program Manager)

    Employment Type: Full Time/ Permanent
    Reports to: CTO

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a Technical Program Manager who would take ownership of our in-house senior engineer project-based program.

    Mission

    • Take ownership of the program by ensuring the successful up-skilling of junior software engineers to senior engineers, through our in house project-based mentorship program.

    Position Description

    • Take full ownership of the end-to-end management of the project-based mentorship program.
    • Ensure that the program is delivered to the highest quality standards.
    • Ensure that the curriculum is well defined and meets the market demands/ expectations for senior engineers.
    • Engage all stakeholders including the CTO, mentors, trainer and clients to ensure successful output. 
    • Continuously review the program needs, priorities and deliverables. 
    • Monitor timelines and identify opportunities to improve the quality of the Program.
    • Identify tools/ processes required to ensure the program is automated and runs smoothly.
    • Interface with external clients to source projects that match the program requirements.
    • Collect and share feedback from the project-based mentorship program with the main DecaDevs program for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications & Skill Sets

    • Bachelor's Degree or other relevant certifications.
    • Practical experience in Project Management using Agile Methodology.
    • Prior experience in requirement gathering and analysis.
    • Strong leadership and analytical skills. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Project and time management skills.
    • Ability to work with technical tools. 
    • Must be proactive and willing to work with diverse teams.

    Preferred Years of Experience:

    • 4+ years of experience working as a Team Lead/ Engineering Manager.
    • 8+ years programming experience in Java, C# or Node JS.
    • Experience in Cloud Computing and Relational database management systems.
    • Experience in System design.
    • Experience in Algorithm & Data structures.
