Engineer at PWAN Stars

Responsibilities

• To read and interpret engineering, architectural drawings and execute construction plan with ease.
• To ensure that all materials and tools are available to the workers and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.
• To monitor daily construction procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained and schedules are being followed.
• To set out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification and liaise with the Project Supervisors (sub-contractors) regarding construction programs (programs of works).
• To create and monitor schedules for the project.
• To create progress reports on daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the MD.
• Preparing comparison of the received quotations, negotiating with the sub-contractors to get the best price and discount.
• To ensure correctness of sub-contract Details with the project requirements as per the specification.
• Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ) for the projects.
• Evaluation of work-done by the sub-contractors for each stage of their mile-stone.
• Certification of each stage of construction work.
• To gather all the quantities, BOQs, specifications and drawings for materials & subcontract works that are needed for the project.
• Receiving & reviewing technical specifications, bill of quantity, drawings, checking them.
• Serve as point of contact with external sub-contractor related issues with projects, to sequence the works.
• To assist in surveying works (mapping and allocation).

Qualifications

• B.Eng Civil Engineering. 2-3 years work experience
