Engineer Manager at Startup Company

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
• Hands-on programming experience in one of the following: Java, C++ or Python

Preferred qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or closely related degree.
• 10 years of relevant industry experience, with 5 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience (managing teams of 8 or more developers).
• Strong distributed systems and architecture knowledge and experience.
• Experience shipping successful products.
• Strong leader capable of motivating and energizing the very best.
• Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovation, capable of "rolling-up sleeves and getting hands dirty".
• Manage a team of web engineers, including task planning and code reviews.
• Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
• Contribute technically to projects.
• Work closely with the management team to ensure we're building the best interface
