Lead and supervise the engine room team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Plan and oversee maintenance of engines, generators, pumps, and related mechanical/electrical systems in accordance with schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
Monitor engine performance and operating parameters, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including pollution prevention and emission control standards.
Train and mentor engine room personnel to maintain high technical competence and operational discipline.
Maintain accurate records of engine operations, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory for reporting to management.
