Energy Expert at Domeo Resources International (DRI)

Main Function    

The Energy Expert will provide technical expertise and strategic guidance on renewable energy projects, ensuring the company\'s goals and objectives are met. The Energy Expert will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement renewable energy solutions, drive business growth, and promote sustainability.     

Role Responsibilities     

Renewable Energy Project Development:

• Provide technical expertise and support for the development of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, and other emerging technologies.

Energy Market Analysis:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the renewable energy sector.

Technical Advisory:

• Offer technical guidance and advice on renewable energy technologies, system design, and implementation.

Policy and Regulation:

• Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and identify growth opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and local communities, to promote the development of renewable energy.

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing proposals and pitches to secure projects and partnerships.

Project Management:

• Oversee and manage renewable energy projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Knowledge Sharing:

• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contributing to the development of best practices and industry insights.

Experience/Qualification    

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., energy engineering, environmental science, renewable energy).
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of project development, implementation, and management.
• Relevant certifications, such as LEED AP or Certified Renewable Energy Professional (CREP), are an added advantage.
• Recognition within the industry, such as awards or publications.
• Network: Established network of contacts within the renewable energy sector.
