Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install wiring, lighting, control, and power systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers, and repair or replace faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools and a variety of techniques to identify and fix electrical malfunctions.
• Blueprint and Schematic Reading: Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to understand the layout and plan installations and repairs.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Record Keeping: Document all work completed, including services performed and materials used.
• Collaboration:Work with other technicians, general contractors, and engineers on projects.

Skills and qualifications
