We are hiring a skilled Electrician in the Lagos Port or Lagos Free Trade Zone to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial environment.
This role is ideal for a technically competent professional with experience in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance within factories or production facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems
Diagnose faults and perform timely troubleshooting of electrical issues
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
Monitor electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
Support production teams by resolving electrical faults quickly
Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
Requirements
OND/HND or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as an Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, panels, and industrial equipment
Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Experience working in a Free Trade Zone /Lagos Port
Familiarity with PLC systems and automation (an advantage)
Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and maintenance systems
