In addition to being able to perform excellently the duties of an Electrical assistant, you are to carry out the following responsibilities.
Working along senior electricians and assisting in all tasks.
Assist in installation of cable carrying systems, conduit and cabling.
Tidying work areas.
Loading & Off-loading of materials on and off site. OHS Responsibilities
Perform work safely to protect yourself and others from harm
Follow health and safety procedures, including wearing of personal protective equipment, obeying the safety signs and other related policies
Not intentionally tampering or misuse equipment, devices or other means provided by the organization that is used to keep the workplace safe and healthy.
Report all identified defects and potential hazards in the workplace.
Inform your Supervisor/HSE Representatives/HSE Officer or QHSE Manager about any workplace injury, illnesses, incidents (near misses and accidents).
Be familiar with the emergency and evacuation procedures and the location of the emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kit, etc.) in order to be able to protect themselves in the event of emergency
Requirement:
Knowledge of all tools and materials relevant to the Electrical trade.
