Job Description

• Responsible for conducting Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance activities, including planned, unplanned, and breakdown maintenance of measuring instruments and equipment in Power Plant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monitoring, preventive maintenance, and repairs for electrical components in the Power Plant.
• Ensure equipment health checks including feeders, transformers, power supply panels, motors, and battery banks.
• Guide technicians in troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
• Maintain proper housekeeping for field equipment and panels.
• Follow safety protocols and report near-miss incidents.

Requirements

• HND in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• Minimum of 10years in Operations & Maintenance (O&M), project execution, and commissioning in process-based industries, preferably Power and Steel Manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&I diagrams, and equipment like drives, control valves, and actuators.
• Experience working with voltage levels from 33KV down to 415 volts.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and record-keeping.
• Knowledge of safety norms for electrical equipment and adherence to them.
