Qualification

Applicants must posses a minimum of second class University Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or HND in the same field

Key Requirements includes:

• Power Generation experience
• Knowledge of USA Electrical power distribution systems
• Knowledge of IEC 61892 Mobile and fixed offshore units electrical systems
•  Design, installation and maintenance of electrical machines and facilities such as electric motors and motor control centers (MCC), treatment plants, pumps, control panels, distribution panels, switchgears, generator servicing, electrical wiring installation and repair.
• Equipment sizing and load evaluation
• Preparation and review of wiring diagrams to aid installation and troubleshooting.
•  Employs current electrical standards and codes (e.g. IEC and IET) in all electrical designs, installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Audit and Inspection of electrical installation to ascertain quality and standard.
• Preparation of daily and monthly reports on all electrical repairs, installation and maintenance.
• Design, installation and maintenance of electrical machines and facilities such as electric motors and motor control centers (MCC), treatment plants, pumps, control panels, distribution panels, switchgears, generator servicing, electrical wiring installation and repair.

• Power generation and distribution.

•  Manage personnel and materials for optimal performance while putting safety first.
• Ensures that all electrical safety devices work according to set parameters.
• Participate in the health, safety and environmental (HSE) audits and monitor progress with remedial actions.
•  Preparation of daily and monthly reports on all electrical repairs, installation and maintenance.
• Develop electrical COPs (Company Operating Procedures) on all electrical installations.
•  Ensure that power is available in all crew locations and satellite facilities. Outstanding Responsibilities:
•  Design and construction of Main Distribution Units (MDU) and Secondary Distribution Units (SDU) for the companies Accommodation, Industrial and Staging areas.
• Electric Motors Installation and Maintenance.
• Effective management of men and material for optimal performance.
