The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components. These systems may include power generation and distribution, control systems, communications, and electronic devices.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and products.
Create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Test and evaluate electrical components and systems for safety, efficiency, and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and departments.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and regulations.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree /HND in Electrical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuit design, and power systems.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Experience on 33/11KV generation, transmission and distribution. Hands-on with Electrical as well as Electronic equipment.
He/she should be conversant with power plant equipment including generators, breakers, switch-gears, compressors etc. should be able to troubleshoot and maintain 33/11 KV equipment. Computer knowledge is an advantage.
