    Education Officer (Volunteer)

    Position Overview:

    As an Education Officer (Volunteer), you will play a crucial role in our efforts to provide quality education and learning opportunities to those in need. Your expertise and dedication will help us make a lasting impact and create a brighter future for individuals and communities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills, gain experience in the non-profit sector, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the education team to develop and implement educational programs and initiatives.
    • Assist in identifying the educational needs of our target beneficiaries and designing appropriate interventions.
    • Support the recruitment and training of teachers and volunteers for educational activities.
    • Assist in the development and adaptation of educational materials and curriculum.
    • Organize and coordinate educational workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns.
    • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the impact and effectiveness of educational programs.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with schools, educational institutions, and community partners.
    • Provide guidance and support to students and their families to ensure their educational success.
    • Stay updated on educational trends, best practices, and policies to enhance program offerings.

    Qualifications:

    • Bsc/HND/NCE  in education, teaching, or a related field is desirable.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple educational initiatives.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and community members.
    • Creativity and adaptability to develop innovative teaching approaches and solutions.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational software is desirable.
    • Previous experience in educational program development or teaching is a plus, but not required.
