    E-Commerce Manager (Retail Store)

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Details

    • Our client is recruiting a highly coordinated candidate to oversee the development and utility of the store's e-commerce platform and website.

    Responsibilities

    • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
    • Creating frameworks that transform our social media sites into highly profitable platforms.
    • Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
    • Managing and supervising the eCommerce division effectively
    • Offering suggestions for website development and designing.
    • Conducting thorough research about new developments in the eCommerce sector
    • Coordinating and keeping the senior management abreast of all operations
    • Preparing and assigning work schedules
    • Ensuring completion of tasks and company targets
    • Developing marketing strategies and reviewing sales performance on a timely basis
    • Approaching and collaborating with content creatorto generate online traffic
    • Using effective SEO/SEM techniques to maximize search engine traffic
    • Reviewing any legal eCommerce marketing procedures
    • Creating performance reports on a monthly basis
    • Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform
    • Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps
    • Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments
    • Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment
    • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance
    • Track product imagery, copy and stock availability to ensure products are posted live on the website as soon as available in the warehouse
    • Collaborate with the design team to upload content to the site Test and ensure that all the allocated merchandise is live on the site and functional at all times.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Information Systems or similar.
    • 10 years work experience as an e-commerce manager, sales manager.
    • Should have worked in the e-commerce space.
    • Must be able to lead the digital marketing staff.
    • Extensive knowledge in digital marketing and an experience in it is a plus.
    • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.
    • Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
    • Must be knowledgeable about relevant trends and innovations in e-commerce.
    • Must be good user of SEO/SEM and other marketing tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Basic understanding of eCommerce industry trends and procedures
    • You have a high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
    • Must be a creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation.
    • Must be able to strongly drive retail store e-commerce platform.
    • Must be ready to resume immediately.
