DSC Engineer at MacTay Consulting

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for the process control development and information management strategies
• Develop custom-designed controllers and automation testing systems
• Plan and submit requisition for necessary materials for building the control system
• Collect, compile, and integrate hardware and software for building production control system
• Assist in the designing electrical systems for control production processes
• Operate and provide technical support to the distributed control system Understand the current low-level design (LLD) of the virtual DSC.
• Assist in the preparation of plant engineering and maintenance budget
• Perform instrumentation testing and interlock testing according to regulatory requirements
• Check and replace damaged parts from the system as necessary
• Ensure the control system does not trespass the environmental regulations
• Coordinate with technical experts and engineers for project applications
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation required by the company

Job Requirements:

• Understand the installation and configuration of a virtual DSC.
• Good understanding of the Attribute Value Pair (AVP) settings in a DSC node
• Understand how to conduct the Health Check for a vDSC.
• Understand the different nodes the DSC communicates with and the interface name and protocols.
• Understand the function of the Diameter Agent (DA), Diameter Edge Agent (DEA) and Diameter Routing Agent (DRA).
• Understand the vDSC system troubleshooting.
• Understand how to conduct the backup and restore for a vDSC
• Understand the procedure for taking Subscriber Tracing.
• Understand the key KPI measurement for the vDSC node
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience is required
