Driver at Transinnovation Motors Nigeria Limited (TIM Motors)

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, goods, and materials safely and efficiently, maintaining assigned vehicles, and ensuring compliance with all road and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport personnel, goods, or equipment as required.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery to destinations within Lagos, Ogun, and nearby states.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Monitor and report mechanical issues and schedule maintenance when needed.
• Keep vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance reports.
• Comply with company transport policies and traffic laws.
• Assist with loading/unloading items when necessary.
• Maintain professional conduct and good interpersonal relations with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of SSCE/WAEC.
• Experience: At least 3 years of proven driving experience (corporate or private).
• Driver’s License: Valid Nigerian driver’s license (Class D or E) is mandatory.

Knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge of Lagos, Ogun, and surrounding routes.
• Understanding of road signs, traffic rules, and vehicle maintenance basics.

Skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.
• Basic understanding of English (reading/writing).

Preferred:

• Possession of LASDRI card (for Lagos drivers).
• Familiarity with GPS or map applications.
• Experience driving executive vehicles or light trucks (optional).
