 Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Transportation of Passengers or Goods
• Safely drive individuals or transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and reduce travel time.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection.
• Conduct routine inspections before and after trips.
• Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition (checking oil, brakes, tires, lights, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Documentation and Record Keeping.
• Track mileage, fuel consumption, and service intervals.
• Handle inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure all goods are properly secured and passengers are safely seated.
• Adhere to company policies and transportation regulations.
• Time Management.
• Arrive at pick-up and drop-off points on time.
• Manage delivery schedules efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, when necessary.
• Ensure items are transported securely to prevent damage.
• Use GPS or maps to determine the best routes.
• Respond appropriately in case of accidents or vehicle breakdowns.
• Contact emergency services and report incidents as required.
• Fueling and Cleaning.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.

 Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum of O Level. 
• Valid driver's license. 
• 2 years and above in the company
• Familiar with Lagos terrain.
• Proficient in navigating routes using Google Maps to ensure efficient and timely travel.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in dispatch riding or similar roles. 
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Basic first aid and safety trainings.
• Should possess strong moral principles.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Visual Acuity
• Comfortable with shift work arrangement.
