Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles safely and with professionalism as assigned by Fleet Manager
• To ensure that policies and procedures are met in respect of:
  • Vehicle and associate equipment check
  • Accident procedures
  • Breakdown procedures
  • Health & Safety Policy
  • Driving Standards.
• Maintain the Vehicle and garaging area to the organisational standards
• Perform the prescribed daily vehicle and safety equipment check and immediately record and report any defects which become apparent.
• Account for all fares in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• To stand by for daily instructions.
• Any other duty as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the operating area or metropolis.
• Have due consideration for safety and comfort of whoever assigned to.
• Ability to read road sign and obedience to traffic rules.
• Defensive driving knowledge
• People management skills
• Ability to manage one's boss.
• Skills of mastering the operating areas.
• Ability to work at other locations as directed
• Time management skills.
• A Minimum qualification of Senior Secondary School certificate holder(SSCE)
• A minimum of 5 years' experience inactive capacity.
