Job Summary

• Marsand Bespoke Joinery is seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, finished furniture, equipment, and staff safely and efficiently while ensuring company vehicles are well maintained and all deliveries are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport furniture, materials, equipment, and staff to designated locations.
• Collect and deliver goods, documents, and other company items as required.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Load and unload materials carefully, ensuring items are secured during transit.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues immediately.
• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and in excellent condition at all times.
• Ensure vehicle licences, insurance, and other documentation remain valid and up to date.
• Plan efficient travel routes to minimise delays and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with basic warehouse or site duties when deliveries have been completed, if required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• Valid Nigerian driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years' professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and surrounding areas.
• Experience transporting furniture, building materials, or similar items is an advantage.
• Ability to safely load and secure goods for transportation.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Honest, dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends when required.
