Driver / Logistics Officer at Global Peace Development

Job Summary

• The position bearer will be responsible for providing driving support to the organization, while adhering to standard driving regulations and the Nigeria Highway Code.
• The driver will be expected to provide driving support to project teams as well as other short term and long term supports aiding in the delivery of both programme goals and objectives of the organization.

Required Academic Qualification and Experience

• Minimum of OND / SSCE;
• Certified professional driving training (preferred)
• Fluent in English, Hausa and other local languages
• Proven experience of working with international organization / Local NGOs
• Not less than 4 years’ experience in professional driving

Essential Competencies / Skills:

• Demonstrate defensive driving skills (in town and on direct road)
• Good communication skills
• Basic routine maintenance and vehicle handling skills.
