The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture on behalf of International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks suitable Nigerian Nationals for the positions below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.
Duties
Safely transport staff, consultants, researchers, visitors, and partners to official meetings, field activities, workshops, conferences, etc.
Drive institute vehicles for project implementation activities, including rural and field locations where necessary.
Support airport transfers and protocol arrangements for official visitors, international staff from the HQ and staff.
Ensure adherence to approved travel schedules and routing instructions.
Conduct daily routine checks on assigned vehicles.
Ensure assigned vehicles are kept clean, neat, and roadworthy at all times.
Promptly report mechanical faults, damages, accidents, or servicing needs to the supervisor.
Maintain records of vehicle servicing, repairs, fuel consumption, and mileage logs.
Requirements
OND with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience or O’ Level with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
