Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive the employer to and from destinations, including work, meetings, appointments, and social engagements.
• Plan routes based on traffic, road conditions, and time of day to ensure timely arrival.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle (interior and exterior).
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks (oil, tire pressure, fuel, etc.) and report or schedule servicing when due.
• Ensure all necessary documentation (license, insurance, registration, etc.) is current and in the vehicle.
• Run errands and perform deliveries or pickups as assigned (e.g., groceries, packages, family members).
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading of personal items when necessary.
• Keep logs of trips, expenses, and mileage if required.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an NCE / OND qualification
• 3 - 5 years proven experience as a personal, executive, or company driver.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and local traffic laws.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and traffic apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Polite, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• High level of discretion, reliability, and trustworthiness.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours when required.
• Physical fitness to sit and drive for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Secondary School Certificate or higher.
• Basic knowledge of car mechanics is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with executives or within a private household.
