Digital Marketer/ Content Creator at Owens and Xley

Job Description

• Work with all relevant parties to create and execute the content strategy
• Create contents for all the platforms
• Coordinate with the create team to execute strategy
• Work with the creative and virtual stylist to supervise shoots
• Edit and review content before sending for approval with management
• Identify the right influencers to work with the brand
• Create and proof read all marketing collateral
• Utilize search engine optimization methods to increase traffic
• Monitor performance of executed contents
• Ensure that the content aligns with the look and feel of the website
• Write, review, edit, and update content for organisation websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms
• Conduct research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions in alignment to the brand
• Assist the creative team with the design of promotional materials
• Use social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote organisation initiatives
• Monitor social media and organisation website metrics
• Suggest new ways to promote organisation offerings to reach consumers  
• Perform any other task as assigned

Requirements/Skills 

•  BSc. / HND in Marketing, English, Business Administration or a related field
•   Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a content creator
•   Professional certification will be an added advantage

• Ability to effectively make use of  content management systems (e.g.wordpress Canva, Inshot, unfold, adobe spark,etc

• Knowledge of search engine optimization methods  

• Excellent research skills
•  Knowledge of layouts, graphics fundamental, typography, print and the web
•  Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects

•  A keen eye for aesthetics and details
