Job Summary

• The Designer will be responsible for developing creative and functional designs for wood joinery products, including furniture, cabinetry, and bespoke pieces.
• The role involves translating concepts into detailed technical drawings, collaborating closely with production teams, and ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create detailed designs, shop drawings, and technical drawings for wood joinery products, including furniture, cabinetry, and custom pieces.
• Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and finishes based on design requirements and client specifications.
• Prototyping: Collaborate with the production team to develop prototypes and ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing processes.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD software and design tools, including V-Ray, Blender, and Revit, to create and modify designs efficiently.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects and meet agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in furniture or product design, preferably within a wood joinery environment.
• Proficiency in V-Ray, Blender, and Revit, along with other CAD and graphic design tools.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.
